“Hopeless” is the first book in a short series written by Colleen Hoover. This popular author is known for her dramatic contemporary romances, from which I have read and liked a few.

Sky has always been homeschooled, however for her senior year she decided she wants to be a normal girl and join the public high school, however when she planned that her best friend was not going to go across the world for a school program overseas. She also did not plan on encounter a strange boy who seemed to know her but not really. And the least she was planning on was into discover herself altogether.

“Hopeless” was a fantastic book, that developed a really difficult and tough matter in an exquisite way. I have not read a book that has dealt with such important issues in a way that they do in this book, I have seen tv shows and movies, however never a book and I thought it was amazingly brought up and developed. I like how every single detail you are reading at the beginning of the book is wrapped up in the end.
The only bad thing was that midway through the drama I could see it coming, because as I said I have seen this kind of development before in other media. Nonetheless, it did not make the book less terrific.

To sum up, a book you should read if you like reading about though themes because this is not your typical contemporary novel.

Last month I set an ambitious TBR which I was unable to complete entirely, but I did manage to get a lot read which makes me kind of happy. As I also said on the previous month's post I was going to center this past month's TBR on the "Sweep/ Wicca" series by Cate Tiernan, and that is what I did. I managed to finish the sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth, and get thought half of the eleventh. I have enjoyed most of this books, however the last two, Seeker and Origins, change the point of view and I have not been able to click with them as I was able to so with the other ones. As for the November TBR, I want to still finish this series, reading the twelfth, thirteenth, fourteenth and sixteenth books in the series, Eclipse, Reckoning, Full Circle and Night Child. Appart from that, I want to keep finishing s...
