“Strife is the ninth book in the “Wicca/Sweep” series, a series that follows Morgan as she finds out about the existence of magik and her relationship with it. She discovers a new part of her life that threatens with run over everything else.

Weird things start happening and the only one that can be blame is Morgan who is uninitiated, since now Ciaran is on the run, and Selene and Cal dead. Hunter brings someone to help her out but her solution to things kinds of goes to extreme. Also, Alisa leaves the coven, since all the things happening scared her off.

“Strife” was a good book in the series but it got me lost a little bit. They introduced Alisa’s point of view which kinds of puts me off a little bit and all in all it was a little tedious to get through the book, since there was less action and no antagonist.

To sum up, a good book but a little weird. It does not mean that I should discourage you to keep reading the series.

October Wrap Up - November TBR

Hello again everyone, Today starts a new month and that means that it is time to wrap up the previous month and set this month's TBR. Last month I set an ambitious TBR which I was unable to complete entirely, but I did manage to get a lot read which makes me kind of happy. As I also said on the previous month's post I was going to center this past month's TBR on the "Sweep/ Wicca" series by Cate Tiernan, and that is what I did. I managed to finish the sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth, and get thought half of the eleventh. I have enjoyed most of this books, however the last two, Seeker and Origins, change the point of view and I have not been able to click with them as I was able to so with the other ones. As for the November TBR, I want to still finish this series, reading the twelfth, thirteenth, fourteenth and sixteenth books in the series, Eclipse, Reckoning, Full Circle and Night Child. Ruby Red book to movie adaptation

“Rubinrot” is the title of the movie adaptation from the book Ruby Red, which was released in 2013. The movie has been translated to different languages including English as well as Spanish. The sequel was released in 2014, and the last in the series is expected to be released in 2016. As the book the movie follows Gwendolyn Shepperd, a regular 16-year-old girl who is tired of her family secrets. She will discover them all the moment she discover she carries a rare gene which allows her to travel back in time. Everyone was expecting her cousin to inherit the gene; however, she was the lucky one. She will have to face the order of the count of St. Germain, who have the mission to complete the chronograph, an instrument which allow the travelers to choose the date to which they will travel.
