February WrapUp - March TBR

Hello again,

I feel bad I haven't been posting on the blog for the longest time... I keep setting myself to write more here but I keep prioritizing other things, you know how this goes. So another month went by that means it's time for a monthly wrap up and a TBR for the month coming.

Last month went worse than I was expecting it to be, I just read two books.
I read the third book on the After series by Anna Todd, and actually didn't liked it as much as the previous ones, I just feel the plot keeps going over and over the same topics all the time. After that I read the second book in the Veronica Mars series; this is a perfect series for the ones who used to love the TV show.
And that was it, all I read in February.

As for March I'm expecting to read more, I am going to try read more. I set up a challenging TBR which I hopefully stick to.
First we have a couple of books coming from previous months:
- The Chronicles of Narnia, Prince Caspian. Which was the children's book I was going to read last month but didn't get to
- If I stay by Gayle Forman. I have been wanting to read this book since a long time ago, last month I wanted to read it and see the movie. I do neither so I figured this could be the month.
- The Dream Thieves by Maggie Stiefvater. I started this book in January and I was kind of getting into it when I started the after series, so I didn't even got to a 15%, I think. I want to finished to move forward and complete the series soon.
- After ever Happy by Anna Todd, last book in the After series. As I said before the third one on this series was a little bit too tedious for me but I want to complete the series.

And this last two books are part of bookclubs.
- The red queen by Victoria AveYard is part of this month's pics from the bookclub on Goodreads Addicted to YA. I signed up for the club more than a year ago and I haven't really participated on it, therefore I decided to start by trying to read one of their books. Also the book has been quite popular lately and I want to know for myself what's all the hype about really.
- Yes Please by Amy Poehler. This book is march's Paper & Glam bookclub book of the month. I recently found this Youtuber / blogger , she made planner videos and also loves to read, I've been obsessed with her youtube channel and the books she picks are out of my comfort zone but really interesting, so I decided to give the bookclub a go. The book itself it's supposed to be inspiring and funny and I'm really intrigued actually.

That was my ambitious TBR for the month, which I am hoping to get through. I am also hoping to write more on the blog, but I cannot promise anything.

Thanks for reading,

Half Year Wrap Up and July TBR

Hello everyone, as I said on my update and favorites post I’m sorry I’ve been absent lately. Because of that, I’m not going to do a monthly wrap up, but a middle of the year wrap up. I can’t believe we have already hit the middle of the year, but here we are and I’m four books behind in my goodreads challenge, which is more or less like a month. It isn’t much considering how little time I have had to read, as well as many other things, and considering there were two months in which I didn’t finished one book.  We start with January, the best month reading wise I’ve had in years, I completed a total of 8 books in addition to a novella and a graphic novel. Not only that, I also highly enjoyed most books I read during that month  “Captivated by You” by Sylvia Day. The last book published in the Crossfire series, really liked it, and I can’t wait for the next book which I think might be the last. (4/5) “Conociendo a Raul” by Blue Jeans. The novella I read, prequel to “El Club de

The Golden Lily - Richelle Mead

Tittle: The Golden Lilly (Bloodlines #2) Author: Richelle Mead Genre: Fiction, YA, Fantasy, Vampires. Pages: 418 Publisher: Penguin group Format: Digital (Kindle) Time to read it: 6 days Language: English Rating: 5/5 “The Golden Lily” is the second book in the “Bloodlines” series written by Richelle Mead. This is a spin-off series of her previous work “Vampire Academy”. This time the plot centers around Sydney, which we met on the previous series as an alchemist, an “agency” that works on making the vampire world “invisible” to the human kind, and that way they protect humans from evil, vampires. The alchemists tolerate Moroi and Damphir, however they do not engage with them more than what is strictly necessary, they are still evil. Nonetheless, they have a worse evil as common enemy Strigoi. After what happened to Sydney and Adrian, Dimitry and Sonya, former Strigoi turned back into Damphir and Moroi by spirit, came to Palm Springs in order to investigate

Strife - Cate Tiernan

Tittle: Strife Author: Cate Tiernan Genre: Fiction, YA, Romance, fantasy, witches, magik, coming of age. Pages: 188 Publisher: Puffin Format: Digital (Kindle) Time to read it: 5 days Language: English Rating: 4/5 “Strife is the ninth book in the “Wicca/Sweep” series, a series that follows Morgan as she finds out about the existence of magik and her relationship with it. She discovers a new part of her life that threatens with run over everything else. Weird things start happening and the only one that can be blame is Morgan who is uninitiated, since now Ciaran is on the run, and Selene and Cal dead. Hunter brings someone to help her out but her solution to things kinds of goes to extreme. Also, Alisa leaves the coven, since all the things happening scared her off. “Strife” was a good book in the series but it got me lost a little bit. They introduced Alisa’s point of view which kinds of puts me off a little bit and all in all it was a little tedious
