New Planner Goodies: Kikki-k planner and Pilot coleto

Hello everyone!

I discovered the planner community back on August last year, before then I have always carried on a planner or several planners depending on how many things I wanted to keep track of. When I discovered the planner community I fell in love with the ring binder system, since it may allow me to track different things.

As I couldn't find a place near me that sold those kind of planners I had a first attempt of creating my own using a binder I found on a stationary store, I set it up with different sections and it worked for a while.

I moved into a faux Filofax I found on eBay pretty cheap and this has been my main planner for the last five or six months. The only bad thing about this planner was the size of the rings they were pretty small and I had to put one week at time inserts which was tedious.

This past month kikki-k had a sale on their online store and many planners were 50% off, It toke me awhile to decide but I finally went with the personal planner in lilac, which was last year collection. This planner is a A5 planner and I have been eying kikki-k designs since I got more into planners, their lines are cute but still professional looking and they have great reviews all over the internet.

I placed the order on the beginning of the month and it took a while to get shipped, I think it might have been due to Valentine's day orders. However it did arrive within the predicted dates. Also, I have to say the costumer service was fantastic, since I asked them for the tracking number and they respond immediately and politely. In addition to that the shipping which is 9.99$ ended up being free since you receive a 10$ gift voucher if you sign up for the newsletter, but wait patiently for it, it will arrive within 7 days once you are signed up.

About the planner itself it came beautifully packed in a really big box with bubble wrap. Inside the box was the box where the planner was, a beautiful box matching the planner style. The planner was perfect, the rings closed perfectly and there weren't any imperfections whatsoever. This planner cames with different sections and full of paper, but out of the kikki-k planners is the emptiest of all, I mean that most sections are full of note paper and not really labeled, which is one of the reasons why I liked this planner so much. In addition to that it included an undated calendar an a sheet of stickers specially useful for labeling the different dividers.

As I ordered the planner I got even more into planning videos and I came around the pilot coleto a multicolor pen in which you choose the colors. Also the pen seemed the perfect pen for me since I use pilot all the time on my planner, specially the black one. Therefore after searching a lot I found an offer of a seller on eBay offering the pen, which usually cames empty as well as the refills to fill it. It was a great deal and also the seller was quick in sending the pen.

I am so happy with this purchase, this pen is perfect for me and I am loving it, even thinking on buying refills already.

Half Year Wrap Up and July TBR

Hello everyone, as I said on my update and favorites post I’m sorry I’ve been absent lately. Because of that, I’m not going to do a monthly wrap up, but a middle of the year wrap up. I can’t believe we have already hit the middle of the year, but here we are and I’m four books behind in my goodreads challenge, which is more or less like a month. It isn’t much considering how little time I have had to read, as well as many other things, and considering there were two months in which I didn’t finished one book.  We start with January, the best month reading wise I’ve had in years, I completed a total of 8 books in addition to a novella and a graphic novel. Not only that, I also highly enjoyed most books I read during that month  “Captivated by You” by Sylvia Day. The last book published in the Crossfire series, really liked it, and I can’t wait for the next book which I think might be the last. (4/5) “Conociendo a Raul” by Blue Jeans. The novella I read, prequel to “El Club de

The Golden Lily - Richelle Mead

Tittle: The Golden Lilly (Bloodlines #2) Author: Richelle Mead Genre: Fiction, YA, Fantasy, Vampires. Pages: 418 Publisher: Penguin group Format: Digital (Kindle) Time to read it: 6 days Language: English Rating: 5/5 “The Golden Lily” is the second book in the “Bloodlines” series written by Richelle Mead. This is a spin-off series of her previous work “Vampire Academy”. This time the plot centers around Sydney, which we met on the previous series as an alchemist, an “agency” that works on making the vampire world “invisible” to the human kind, and that way they protect humans from evil, vampires. The alchemists tolerate Moroi and Damphir, however they do not engage with them more than what is strictly necessary, they are still evil. Nonetheless, they have a worse evil as common enemy Strigoi. After what happened to Sydney and Adrian, Dimitry and Sonya, former Strigoi turned back into Damphir and Moroi by spirit, came to Palm Springs in order to investigate

Strife - Cate Tiernan

Tittle: Strife Author: Cate Tiernan Genre: Fiction, YA, Romance, fantasy, witches, magik, coming of age. Pages: 188 Publisher: Puffin Format: Digital (Kindle) Time to read it: 5 days Language: English Rating: 4/5 “Strife is the ninth book in the “Wicca/Sweep” series, a series that follows Morgan as she finds out about the existence of magik and her relationship with it. She discovers a new part of her life that threatens with run over everything else. Weird things start happening and the only one that can be blame is Morgan who is uninitiated, since now Ciaran is on the run, and Selene and Cal dead. Hunter brings someone to help her out but her solution to things kinds of goes to extreme. Also, Alisa leaves the coven, since all the things happening scared her off. “Strife” was a good book in the series but it got me lost a little bit. They introduced Alisa’s point of view which kinds of puts me off a little bit and all in all it was a little tedious
