April's Wrap Up and May TBR

A new month started this week, and that means it is time for the wrap up of April. Last month started quite well in the reading department, however mid-month it got to a point where I was practically reading nothing. I started a new job and I have been slaking on a lot of things, reading was one of them. I completed a total of four books, and I started another one.

The first book I finished was “The miracle morning” by Hal Elrod, which was an amazing compelling self-development book that I was really excited to start work with.
“Take me on” was the second book that I read, the fourth book in the “Pushing the limits” series by Katie McGarry. An amazing series I have almost finished.

Then I completed the “Gabriel’s inferno” trilogy reading the second and third book. I read “Gabriel’s rapture” which I really liked and gave it five starts. “Gabriel’s redemption” the end to the series was also good. This series was really good and I am really happy I read it.

Then I started “7 habits of highly effective people” by Steven Covey as part of my miracle morning routine. I have not make a lot of progress into this book but my goal is to read it little by little each morning.

This month of May I hope I read more books and I make some progress into the series I have started in the past. The first book I want to finish is “Days of blood and starlight” by Laini Taylor, the second book in the “Daughter of Smoke and Bone” series. A book I have tried to get into since February but I have not.

Another book that has been on my TBR for now three months is “The eternity cure” which is the second book in the “Blood of Eden” trilogy by Julie Kagawa. Also by this author and coming from last month TBR is “The Iron knight” the last book in the “Iron fey” series.

Coming from last month’s TBR as well is the last book in the “Lux” series by Jennifer L. Armentrout, “Opposition”.
Last but not least I would love to finish the book with the last book in the “Pushing the limits” series by Katie Mc Garry. A series I have been following month after month and that I will finish with “Crashing impossible” this month.

I will also be reading little by little, as I mentioned before, “7 habits of highly effective people” as part of my morning routine.

Half Year Wrap Up and July TBR

Hello everyone, as I said on my update and favorites post I’m sorry I’ve been absent lately. Because of that, I’m not going to do a monthly wrap up, but a middle of the year wrap up. I can’t believe we have already hit the middle of the year, but here we are and I’m four books behind in my goodreads challenge, which is more or less like a month. It isn’t much considering how little time I have had to read, as well as many other things, and considering there were two months in which I didn’t finished one book.  We start with January, the best month reading wise I’ve had in years, I completed a total of 8 books in addition to a novella and a graphic novel. Not only that, I also highly enjoyed most books I read during that month  “Captivated by You” by Sylvia Day. The last book published in the Crossfire series, really liked it, and I can’t wait for the next book which I think might be the last. (4/5) “Conociendo a Raul” by Blue Jeans. The novella I read, prequel to “El Club de

Probably everyone knows what the series is about since the first book was turned this year into a movie. The story develops in a city where the population is divided into factions based on their characters: Abnegation, Amity, Dauntless, Candor and Erudite. Each faction has a role in society; and at the age of sixteen kids are put into a test which will show them what their character is, and then they will choose any faction they want. Something went wrong in our main character test, which will change her life and the ones surrounding her forever.             Now, Four’s mother, the leader of the factionless, governs the city. The
