“Harry Potter and the Deadly Hallows” is the last book
in the well-known series “Harry Potter”. The series by JK Rowling has not needed
an introduction since it has almost become a classic in Children’s literature.
Harry Potter cannot leave the Dursley’s without
danger, he is only protected there and if he uses magic, being as he is already
an underage he will be detected by the ministry, where is suspected to be in
contact with Voldemort. Mad-eye along other order of the phoenix members appear
at Harry’s doorstep in order to take him to safe place. However, their trip
might not be as easy as it was planned. One more school year is about to start,
however Ron, Hermione and Harry have a different plan. They will start the task
Dumbledore gave to them and start seeking bits of Voldemort soul in order to
destroy him once and for all.
“Harry Potter and the deadly hallows” was a good book,
it met my expectations since I was already expecting it the way it was. The
beginning was tedious and monotonous. It felt that for the first half of the
book there was no rush, as if they were not in danger, as if Lord Voldemort and
his companions were not looking for them at all. Moreover, once things start
happens everything is rushed leaving some moments without they needed pause. At
the end there are many deaths, however everything happens in such a rush that
you are not able to feel those deaths as much as the ones that had happened
pages before.
In addition to that, I found the part about the deadly
hallows not important at all, because at the end it isn’t relevant.
Nonetheless, I think it’s a good book that I will have
enjoyed much more if I was a little younger or haven’t seen the films of Harry
Potter.
To conclude, the last book of Harry Potter was a good
book but I think I liked others on the series much more and that I had really
high expectations about it, which maybe made it a little disappointing.
However, I will recommend the book the read was worth it even after having seeing
the movies endless times.
