Davy’s Hamilton life seems going perfectly as planned. She got into Julliard and her boyfriend and her will spend a lot of time together since he will be going to NYU. But one day when she gets home she finds her mother and father really upset. And then she learns she has been tested positive as an HTS carrier. That means she has the kill-gene and that in any moment she could kill someone. She will be uninvited of her school and rearrange in another one in which they have people like her.

I think “Uninvited” was an amazing dystopia. The thing I liked the most about this book was that I could see it becoming something real. This book was not based on a futuristic world very different from ours, is just our world. The only thing that changes is that Scientifics have discovered a gene that most killers carry, and the response is to keep those people unable to kill. In my personal opinion this book was a really good critic to racism and the exclusion that people with some sort of metal illness suffer nowadays.
I really liked how Davy’s character develops and she is still faithful to her ethics. I also really liked how because of her situation she is able to get into new relationships that are more real than the ones she used to have. Apart from that, the way her family reacts, especially her brother, supporting her and caring for her I found it really human.

All in all, Uninvited was a really thought provoking book, that I highly suggest reading.  However, I have not heard such great things about the second book and I do not know if I will read it.

This story is one of the most famous about mass murderers. The time period is also one of the most used in historical fiction as it was one of the most mysterious and contrasting time periods on the history. Audrey Rose is a really special lady, her interests on modem science and especially in forensic medicine do not mix well with what people expect from a fine lady. However, she cannot help her curiosity, especially when women start being murdered in a really hideous way. October Wrap Up - November TBR

Hello again everyone, Today starts a new month and that means that it is time to wrap up the previous month and set this month's TBR. Last month I set an ambitious TBR which I was unable to complete entirely, but I did manage to get a lot read which makes me kind of happy. As I also said on the previous month's post I was going to center this past month's TBR on the "Sweep/ Wicca" series by Cate Tiernan, and that is what I did. I managed to finish the sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth, and get thought half of the eleventh. I have enjoyed most of this books, however the last two, Seeker and Origins, change the point of view and I have not been able to click with them as I was able to so with the other ones. As for the November TBR, I want to still finish this series, reading the twelfth, thirteenth, fourteenth and sixteenth books in the series, Eclipse, Reckoning, Full Circle and Night Child. Appart from that, I want to keep finishing s...
