“Don’t touch” was the debut novel of Rachel M. Wilson. This book was one of those books you plan to read as they come out, but you keep putting down, a contemporary novel that deals with mental illness and how to cope with it and society.

Caddie has promise to herself that if she won’t touch anyone everything will go back to normal. However, she has to find a way to keep this promise in her new school, meeting new people, making new friends and keeping a normal life. Would she be able to keep with it and get the leading role in her new school play?

“Don’t touch” was a really interesting contemporary book. I really liked how the book dealt with a problem like OCD and anxiety. In my opinion, it was really well written and noticeable that the author did dealt with some of the issues herself. The plot was not really original, because it was just another teenage love story. However, the fact that she is unable to touch anyone makes the typical contemporary really different. I also like how the main character felt embarrassed because she is keeping a secret, nonetheless at the same time she cannot keep herself from not touching people.

“Don’t touch” was a fantastic contemporary book. A book that gives a voice to those kids suffering from a mental condition. I would definitely recommend this novel to anyone wiling to read books with someone different on them.

October Wrap Up - November TBR

Hello again everyone, Today starts a new month and that means that it is time to wrap up the previous month and set this month's TBR. Last month I set an ambitious TBR which I was unable to complete entirely, but I did manage to get a lot read which makes me kind of happy. As I also said on the previous month's post I was going to center this past month's TBR on the "Sweep/ Wicca" series by Cate Tiernan, and that is what I did. I managed to finish the sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth, and get thought half of the eleventh. I have enjoyed most of this books, however the last two, Seeker and Origins, change the point of view and I have not been able to click with them as I was able to so with the other ones. As for the November TBR, I want to still finish this series, reading the twelfth, thirteenth, fourteenth and sixteenth books in the series, Eclipse, Reckoning, Full Circle and Night Child. Appart from that, I want to keep finishing s...
