2016 planner journey

As you know from previous posts I am a paper planner girl.  In this post I am going to wrap up this year since it has been odd in terms of planning since I have been really changing planners and set ups a lot, unable to stick to just one planner or spread.
I started the year with a personal size planner, however I mixed this planner with a pocket size planner, as well as, an Erin Condren life planner.

I hope that with the personal size planner I would carry the planner more often than when I was using an A5. Nonetheless, it ended up staying at home everyday and I only ended up carrying the pocket size planner. Apart from that, the rings started to bother me while I write, so I had to take out my pages all the time in order to plan. Even though I knew it was not working I tried to stick to it and tried really hard until June.

In July I decided to change back again to the A5. The things I like the most about the A5 is that because the pages are longer I can write on the pages without taking the pages off and the rings do not get in the middle. Even if I really love this size because of the endless videos on YouTube and especially for Carie Harling videos I decided to give travelers notebooks a try.

Months ago I already had tried travelers notebooks to keep my journals as well as my random notes notebook. I bought a fauxdory on Etsy, and that was the one I used until my Werbster’s pages travelers notebook arrived. In October I stayed to this and I fall in love because I could carry it everywhere even if it became a chunky notebook really fast I liked how I had everything in one place only.
The only thing I have had really clear this year was the insert I wanted to use, DIY fish inserts version 2.2. I really like this inserts I like how complete they are and how well design they are as well.

In November, however I decided to give pocket size travelers notebooks a try. I decided to give this size a try since I saw how there were a lot of planner girls who have moved down to this size and were really impressed on how well it worked. Since this was a trial and I did not know how it would work I decided to go with Annie plans printables for this month. I used the daily timed inserts from her shop as well as some other printables like the monthly calendar for future planning, the perpetual calendar and the online tracker insert.

I have to say I have been really surprised by this size planner because I have been loving it. I can carry it with me everywhere and still I have room to write and plan without taking my inserts out. And I am pretty sure I am going to stick to this planner for a really long time, although I change back to DIY fish inserts, because they are my favorite. I liked the AnniePlans printable however the DIYfish inserts in the V5 worked much better for the month of December. I loved this size that much that I invested in a BlackBeauty ChicSparrow deluxe in the pocket plus size. This planner is amazing, the leather is soft and perfect.

Thanks for reading,

October Wrap Up - November TBR

Hello again everyone, Today starts a new month and that means that it is time to wrap up the previous month and set this month's TBR. Last month I set an ambitious TBR which I was unable to complete entirely, but I did manage to get a lot read which makes me kind of happy. As I also said on the previous month's post I was going to center this past month's TBR on the "Sweep/ Wicca" series by Cate Tiernan, and that is what I did. I managed to finish the sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth, and get thought half of the eleventh. I have enjoyed most of this books, however the last two, Seeker and Origins, change the point of view and I have not been able to click with them as I was able to so with the other ones. As for the November TBR, I want to still finish this series, reading the twelfth, thirteenth, fourteenth and sixteenth books in the series, Eclipse, Reckoning, Full Circle and Night Child. Appart from that, I want to keep finishing s...
