Winter biannual blibliothon TBR

Tomorrow and until the fourteenth takes place the winter biannual bibliothon. This read-a-thon s a week-long read-a-thon hosted twice a year by MissSassyKassie, emmmabooks, Little Red Reader, Kellys BookSpill, TheBooktubeGirl, sierrareads, and Brittni's BookFind.

During the read-a-thon, there will be 7 reading challenges that the people that participate all aim to complete. There are also 7 daily video challenges, in which I will not be participating, however by completing these you can win a giveaway!

This year reading challenges are:
     1. Read the group book: Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalo
  2. Throwback: Pick any past Bibliothon reading challenge (link to previous challenges: http://bit.ly/2fgggxU)
     3. Read a 2016 new release
     4. Read a book a BookTuber recommends to you
     5. Read a book you were really excited for but never picked up
     6. Read a retelling
     7. Read a diverse book

And here are my picks for the read-a-thon:

    1. Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalo, which is the group book and I will probably be listening to it on audiobook. This is a really new thing for me since I have never listen to an audiobook before.
   2. Heartless by Marissa Meyer. This will complete the retelling challenge, as well as, the new release of 2016
     3. Iluminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff. This will complete my throwback challenge, since I chose to challenge myself to read a book over 300 pages. Moreover, this will complete the BookTuber recommends challenge, since this book has been recommended by a lot of people on Youtube from Kassie on the bibliothon live show, as well as, Emma on her videos on books she does not mention enough. However, not only our host have recommended this book other BookTubers as Hailey from Hailey in book land
     4. Don't touch by Rachel M. Wilson. This book has been waiting on my kindle to be read since I first heard about it, because I was super exited about it but I never got around to pick it up. This book also will count as a diverse book since the main character is afraid to touch others a topic not really addressed usually on YA literature

After the end of the BBibliothon, there will be a liveshow discussing the group book.

If you need more information I leave the links to the youtube channel of the bibliothon, as well as, its twitter and Instagram account.

Thanks for reading,

October Wrap Up - November TBR

Hello again everyone, Today starts a new month and that means that it is time to wrap up the previous month and set this month's TBR. Last month I set an ambitious TBR which I was unable to complete entirely, but I did manage to get a lot read which makes me kind of happy. As I also said on the previous month's post I was going to center this past month's TBR on the "Sweep/ Wicca" series by Cate Tiernan, and that is what I did. I managed to finish the sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth, and get thought half of the eleventh. I have enjoyed most of this books, however the last two, Seeker and Origins, change the point of view and I have not been able to click with them as I was able to so with the other ones. As for the November TBR, I want to still finish this series, reading the twelfth, thirteenth, fourteenth and sixteenth books in the series, Eclipse, Reckoning, Full Circle and Night Child. Appart from that, I want to keep finishing s...
