Favorites of the Month - FEBRUARY

Somehow time has passed and I have forgotten about posting my favorite things from February.
Today I will also post my WrapUp and TBR, because I have being procrastinating on it.

First of all, my beauty related items. For body care I have been really enjoying the “pistachio macaroon” shower gel from the “dulce gourmand” collection Deliplus launched this Christmas. I highly recommend these shower gels in any “flavour/ smell”, as they leave your skin smooth and smelling really good. Also the “Raices grasas/ puntas secas” (oily routes/ dry ends) shampoo by Deliplus has been working amazing on my hair. In my face the Garnier “skin naturals PureActive fruit energy” face wash has been doing a great job, even though I had a shitty month, moreover it has been showing on my skin.

Then for makeup I had been keeping really simple: concealer, powder, eyeliner and mascara. The concealer has been the well-known age-rewind concealer by Maybeline, which in my opinion works fantastic not just as under eye concealer. The powder is a 2 in 1 powder by essence; this powder covers more than a simple powder but didn’t have full coverage. Nevertheless, It is perfect if you just don’t feel like wearing make up, or spent a lot of time on your make up. The mascara is the “Volume Million Lashes” by L’Oreal. When I first bought this mascara I didn’t really like it, however right now the formula seems to work much better, and it gives my lashes a pretty volumizing look that I really like.

On the contrary the eye pencil I have been using I would be considering my least favourite thing of the month. It is the “color riche LeKhôl” by L’Oreal in the colour 101 “midnight black”. This eye pencil came along with the mascara on a pack I didn’t really want to throw it away, so I’ve been trying to get use out of it. However, it smudges, doesn’t really stay, and I definitely don’t recommend it to anyone.

In the fashion department I’ve been really down, therefore haven’t really dress up at all. I have been spending most of my time in workout clothes, and when I have dress up a bit it has been jeans and t-shirt. Those are my favourite jeans, are the super skinny super low rise from H&M. And the T-shirt is one of my favourites from Primark.

There are two things that are kind of random that I absolutely love: Tea and candles. My favourite candle of the month has been the “Yankee Candle” Apple Cider candle; which was a present from my brother American family and it has a scent that reminds me a lot of the US and I love it. As for tea, I have been loving and having everyday this loose leaves oolong tea called “altar de flores” (flower altar) which have passion fruit, apple, rosebuds and roman camomile.

And now onto the media favourites; my favourite TV shows at the moment have been Pretty Little Liars and Teen Wolf. Also, I’ve been watching Downtown Abbey in order to finish up some of the series, which I have once started but never got around to finish. As for film, this month I watched just few films, and I didn’t really love anyone but if I have to pick up one it would be American Hustle. This was a pretty original movie; nevertheless it wasn’t the best movie I have ever watched.

I love YouTube, and maybe the only reason I don’t have a YouTube channel is my insecurity. Nonetheless I watch a lot of videos there and I would like to do two special mentions. One to RileyMarie1996, a book tuber I recently discover. And JudeHnd another book tuber, specially I wanted to mention her videos regarding books that had helped her going through different rough stuff.

Then I have been listening Katy Perry’s prism non-stop this month. I have loved this album, I think most of the songs are quite inspiring and have positive messages.
Last but not least, App. I have been playing candy crush nonstop. And I have been using 8 tracks to discover/rediscover some music.

And finally my favourite book of the month will have to be Visions of Heat (Slave to sensation book 2) even though it wasn’t as good as the first one. But you will see why on my wrap up / TBR I will be posting soon.

October Wrap Up - November TBR

Hello again everyone, Today starts a new month and that means that it is time to wrap up the previous month and set this month's TBR. Last month I set an ambitious TBR which I was unable to complete entirely, but I did manage to get a lot read which makes me kind of happy. As I also said on the previous month's post I was going to center this past month's TBR on the "Sweep/ Wicca" series by Cate Tiernan, and that is what I did. I managed to finish the sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth, and get thought half of the eleventh. I have enjoyed most of this books, however the last two, Seeker and Origins, change the point of view and I have not been able to click with them as I was able to so with the other ones. As for the November TBR, I want to still finish this series, reading the twelfth, thirteenth, fourteenth and sixteenth books in the series, Eclipse, Reckoning, Full Circle and Night Child. Appart from that, I want to keep finishing s...
