“Stalking Jack the Ripper” is a new take in the stories behind the famous London murderer. This story is one of the most famous about mass murderers. The time period is also one of the most used in historical fiction as it was one of the most mysterious and contrasting time periods on the history.

Audrey Rose is a really special lady, her interests on modem science and especially in forensic medicine do not mix well with what people expect from a fine lady. However, she cannot help her curiosity, especially when women start being murdered in a really hideous way. She has to discover who is behind those atrocities and what they have to do with her family.

“Stalking Jack the Ripper” was a really compelling and nail biting. In my opinion, this was an amazing story and it was also a terrific audiobook. The feel of the time period and the mystery was really well portrayed in the audiobook as the narrator told the story. I do not know what it was but the way the narrator voice sounded made me feel the creeps at times and that added to the whole story. The plot itself was really interesting, and really mysterious, there were times in which I suspected from everyone, even at the very end. It is visible that the author made her homework and really investigated the time period and the case. But what I liked the most was the strength of the main feminine character, it was amazing how she was able to stick to her beliefs and show every one that she was very capable.

I really enjoyed “Stalking Jack the Ripper” it was a terrific book that I highly recommend. I would suggest you to go for the audiobook since it added a lot to the story.

October Wrap Up - November TBR

Last month I set an ambitious TBR which I was unable to complete entirely, but I did manage to get a lot read which makes me kind of happy. As I also said on the previous month's post I was going to center this past month's TBR on the "Sweep/ Wicca" series by Cate Tiernan, and that is what I did. I managed to finish the sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth, and get thought half of the eleventh. I have enjoyed most of this books, however the last two, Seeker and Origins, change the point of view and I have not been able to click with them as I was able to so with the other ones. As for the November TBR, I want to still finish this series, reading the twelfth, thirteenth, fourteenth and sixteenth books in the series, Eclipse, Reckoning, Full Circle and Night Child. Appart from that, I want to keep finishing s...
