Aden Kai might had not be the strongest of more powerful Arrow of the squad but he surely is a leader. He never was really silence, he did acted like it and learned how to go unseen, how to really be a shadow. He has always had a weak point, her name Zaira, another fellow arrow. Zaira had a rough beginning in life and she found in Aden a friend and someone to trust.
When Aden woke up he was trapped somewhere, but the strange thing was the silence in his mind, no connection to the net. Then he saw someone trapped with him, it was Zaira and she was hurt. Then their kidnappers appeared with the intention of question them, but they are arrows and no one can get to them. They escaped their captors but their minds are still trapped inside themselves, and have no idea of where are they or how to reach the squad.

Shards of hope was a really interesting fast paced book. There were a lot of things going on in this book; we are able to learn more about the inside of the arrow squad. I founded really interesting how an Arrow like Aden uses his experience with changeling packs as away to develop the arrow squad now that the silence has finally fallen. Aden and Zaira relationship reminded me of Clay’s and Tammy, friends and confidents since they were kids.

In conclusion, I think this series is fantastic specially for its complexity and its world building.

October Wrap Up - November TBR

Hello again everyone, Today starts a new month and that means that it is time to wrap up the previous month and set this month's TBR. Last month I set an ambitious TBR which I was unable to complete entirely, but I did manage to get a lot read which makes me kind of happy. As I also said on the previous month's post I was going to center this past month's TBR on the "Sweep/ Wicca" series by Cate Tiernan, and that is what I did. I managed to finish the sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth, and get thought half of the eleventh. I have enjoyed most of this books, however the last two, Seeker and Origins, change the point of view and I have not been able to click with them as I was able to so with the other ones. As for the November TBR, I want to still finish this series, reading the twelfth, thirteenth, fourteenth and sixteenth books in the series, Eclipse, Reckoning, Full Circle and Night Child. Appart from that, I want to keep finishing s...
