“One with
you” is the ending to the “Crossfire” series written by Sylvia Day. The series
follows Eva, who fell in love with the dangerous and powerful Gideon Cross.
They have
already gotten married, however the actual ceremony is yet to take place. Nonetheless,
Eva is really worried about the book Corine is about to publish and that get
mixed with all the issues they already have. They are making progress but
Gideon has to trust Eva is not going anywhere and let be an active part of his
life.
“One with
you” was as compelling as all the previous books in this series. The
relationship between Eva and Gideon is difficult and they both have complicated
pasts that affect their relationship. The story is really nail-biting and it
sucks you in right away. However I did had a problem with the ending with this
book, as it felt really rushed. In less than four chapters everything changes
and I did not really liked the turn it toke.
To sum
up, “One with you” was a decent ending to a really compelling series.
