7 in 7 read-a-thon

Today it’s the first day of the seven in seven read-a-thon. This week-long read-a-thon consists in reading seven books (graphic novels, novellas…) during the week. This read-a-thon is hosted by Frankie, Danna and Asha. I found out about it on Asha’s YouTube channel (saidthestory). The read-a-thon is basically hosted in twitter in its own account (@7in7readathon) as well as the hostess accounts (Frankie, Dana, Asha). As I watch the video I immediately thought it would be a great idea since I’m a little behind on my reading goal for the year. It also might help me with another reading goal which was ending series. My plan for this week is reading books two to eight in the Sweep series by Cate Tiernan. 
           

This series is about witches and magic, and I really enjoyed the first book when I read it back in October. The series has fifteen books, but each one of them is around one hundred-something pages, therefore there are short books perfect for a read-a-thon.  Hopefully, I will be able to finish the first eight in the series by the end of the week. Half Year Wrap Up and July TBR

Hello everyone, as I said on my update and favorites post I’m sorry I’ve been absent lately. Because of that, I’m not going to do a monthly wrap up, but a middle of the year wrap up. I can’t believe we have already hit the middle of the year, but here we are and I’m four books behind in my goodreads challenge, which is more or less like a month. It isn’t much considering how little time I have had to read, as well as many other things, and considering there were two months in which I didn’t finished one book.  We start with January, the best month reading wise I’ve had in years, I completed a total of 8 books in addition to a novella and a graphic novel. Not only that, I also highly enjoyed most books I read during that month  “Captivated by You” by Sylvia Day.
