March Wrap Up and April's TBR

As the first day of the month it is time to do look back into the month and tell you a Little about the books I have managed to finish. I might say this month it will be a short post because I have only managed to read two books. I know it is a really low number and not what I was expecting however March was a thought month.

The first thing I tried to finish this month was “Bad Feminist” by Roxane Gay. I said I tried because I did not manage to get through it. The book was interesting but I guess essay books are not really on my wavelength as I got bored of it. Each essay was kind of interesting nonetheless I am more into books that tell a story and I now know I do not like when the book do not arrive to a point. It is because all of this that I do not think I will push myself to read this book since I am quite sure I will not enjoy it.

Then I decided to play it safe and went for the fifth book in the PSI/Changeling series by Nalini Singh. It was not surprise I ended up loving this book as much as I have loved the previous ones.
After that I decided to give Percy Jackson another try and started “The sea of monsters”, which is the second book in the series by Rick Riordan. I should say that I enjoyed it a lot more than I did the first one, but it toke me a long time to read it since I did not have much time and I was really tired every day when I went to bed, which it is the main time I dedicate to read.

Because of this lack of reading progress this past month I am quite behind in the reading goal. This means in the next few months I will have to try harder to meet my TBRs. This month I am planning on finishing one of the books I stopped in the middle when I was reading it, Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo. Moreover, I would like to finish the trilogy by reading Ruin and rising also this month.

Continuing with the on-going series I have been reading this past months, I add to my TBR the sixth book in the Psi/Changeling series by Nalini Singh, Branded by Fire; as well as, the third book in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians, The Titan's Curse.

In addition to this, I have a stand-alone I have wanted to read, a Temptation of angels by Michelle Zink. And I would love to get to read Life and Death by Stephenie Meyer, the book the author published for the Twilight anniversary, in which most characters change their genre.

Last but not least, I am aiming for reading the Paper and Glam book club book of the month, since it is a series I have wanted to start since it was published. It is “to all the boys I’ve loved before” by Jenny Han, the author of one of the trilogies that made me fall in love with contemporary, the summer trilogy.
Let's hope I will be able to meet my TBR, thanks for reading,

October Wrap Up - November TBR

Hello again everyone, Today starts a new month and that means that it is time to wrap up the previous month and set this month's TBR. Last month I set an ambitious TBR which I was unable to complete entirely, but I did manage to get a lot read which makes me kind of happy. As I also said on the previous month's post I was going to center this past month's TBR on the "Sweep/ Wicca" series by Cate Tiernan, and that is what I did. I managed to finish the sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth, and get thought half of the eleventh. I have enjoyed most of this books, however the last two, Seeker and Origins, change the point of view and I have not been able to click with them as I was able to so with the other ones. As for the November TBR, I want to still finish this series, reading the twelfth, thirteenth, fourteenth and sixteenth books in the series, Eclipse, Reckoning, Full Circle and Night Child. Appart from that, I want to keep finishing s...
