Planning on my Erin Condren Life planner

As I have told you in my “How I plan using multiple planners” post I am now going to walk you through my planning process on each one of my planners. First I am going to talk about my Erin Condren life planner, which as I told you in that post works as my weekly visual board, as well as, my creative planner.
I plan on my EC once a week and take a look at it when I am planning my days. The process goes like this: on Sunday morning I take out all my planners and notebooks and my post it notes. First of all, I review last week’s spread and to do list. Then I take a look at my “brain dump” notebook where I usually write on Fridays, before going home at work, a to-do list on the things I want or need to get done the next week. So I note each one on a piece of post it note, I usually cut my small since post it notes on threes to get the most out of them. Then I take a look at my small Kikki-K to check out any appointments, and I make little flags from them to. These ones go directly to the planner, since I cannot rearrange them.  Then I start arranging the things I have to do for work in the upper row.
On the lower row I track my blogposts, therefore I take a look at the monthly calendar where I have my editorial calendar, see if I need to move any post, for example if I wanted to post a book review but I haven’t finished the book yet I will change the posts order or aim for another thing to post on that day. I put the posts on the days they are supposed to be posted on the lower row. Once I have done this I know if I need to write something or take pictures for those blogposts and I will put those things also on my lower row.
The middle row I use for personal therefore the first thing I note her is my workout schedule for the week, right now I am following the TIU workout schedule. Then I will note any appointment that doesn’t have to do with work, as well as, when my boyfriend plays football or has something out of ordinary. Apart from that I will plan what days I need to go to my parents and my cleaning routine, which is every week, more or less the same, however I do not want to forget about it.

At this point my planner is full of post-it flags and it is time to take out my stickers. I use the planner kit sticker set from PaperLovingMommy since she offers a full set of stickers with the monthly colors and custom headers, if you choose it. The quality of these stickers is great and they are repositionable, which means that when I sometimes make mistakes I can easy remove the sticker without damaging the page and put it on other place.
Once I place all my stickers all I have left to do is write the to-do list on the margin and It is set for the week.

Before ending the post I want to make a mention of what I use the monthly spreads on this planner. As I have mention it has my blog editorial calendar, which is a copy from the one I keep in my mainly planner. I write these entries with a pink frixion pen; since it can happen that I have to move things around a little. I also track the episodes from the series I am following and the days new episodes came out. I highlight the episodes as I watch them on a color that matches the monthly spread.

Thanks for reading,
