“Sweet Reckoning” is the third book and last book in the Sweet trilogy, written by Wendy Higgins. A companion novel written in Kaidan point of view was released last year, but it is not a continuation it is the same story from a different perspective.
Anna misses Kaidan, even if they were not together for that long. They keep in touch whenever it is safe to do so; however the Dukes are suspicious about Anna and her father. The battle is starting to set and Anna will be in the center of it.
“Sweet Reckoning” was a really good book. There are a lot of things happening in this book from the moment it starts, that’s the reason I cannot write a lot about the plot since I will be giving to much information. The truth is that I really enjoyed the book; however I thought there were some parts in which the romance between Kaidan and Anna became quite cheesy.
Apart from that the ending was quite predictable; however there were some plot twists that I was not expecting at all. The author was able to keep me in the edge until the very ending, even when I knew how it was going to end.

To sum up, “Sweet Reckoning” and the whole “Sweet trilogy” was a really good series which was worth of my time, and I would really recommend it.
